Cleveland VOTES Hosting Annual Free Early Voting Party, Pull Up to the Polls

On Saturday, October 31, the Cleveland VOTES staff will host their forth annual Pull Up to the Polls event, a free in-person early voting celebration. This year's event is Halloween themed. You can stop by the festivities either before or after you vote at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. We’ll be hanging out on 18th St. between Superior and St. Clair. All ages and people are welcome, even if you don’t vote that day. There will be music, treats, and awesome activities. Ro’Digga from Z 107.9 will be broadcasting live at the event, and music will be provided by DJ Ryan Wolf. Halloween costumes are encouraged. Pre-registration is not required.
The event is organized in partnership with local partners, such as Indivisible Next 2sday Arts, Bike Cleveland, Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless, and Civic Engagement Collab.
The event is in honor of Vote Early Day, a civic holiday that Cleveland VOTES has been celebrating since its inception in 2020. Vote Early Day (which is officially on October 26 this year) is founded by national nonprofits, businesses, election administrators, and influencers to ensure that every American has the tools and knowledge to cast their ballot early for the upcoming midterm election and beyond.
There are several proven benefits of early voting, such as shorter wait times while you vote, a lower risk of encountering last-minute problems that might prevent you from casting your ballot, and being able to vote on your own schedule. Confusing election laws and voter disinformation can also prevent voters from casting a ballot on Election Day. By hosting Pull Up to the Polls, Cleveland VOTES is providing local voters with a fun and exciting reason to vote early in a supportive environment and ensure their voices are heard without any obstacles.
Attendees are encouraged to create a voting plan before they vote early. We recommend checking out our Voter Resources page and looking up a sample ballot.
