Democracy in Review is not just an annual report -- it's also an opportunity to highlight our community partners and to give readers ideas for getting their communities #ElectionReady. Since more community members read our annual report than the average nonprofit, we really try to make Democracy in Review fun and easy to navigate. In Cuyahoga County, over half of adults struggle with reading proficiency. So having an annual report that can be accessible to all voting-aged adults is very important to us and definitely informs the writing and design process. ​
