Cleveland VOTES and Vote to Live Campaign co-hosting "Rides to Vote" fundraiser

This fall, Vote To Live is partnering with Cleveland VOTES to deliver 1,000 free rides to voters across Cuyahoga County during the early vote period and on November 3, Election Day. To raise money to cover the rides, Cleveland VOTES is hosting a "Rides to Vote" fundraiser on Sept. 22 at 5pm. Tickets start at $28.52 and go up to $1,068.91. The prices vary depending on if you are registering for an individual or an organization.

Rides To Vote is the Vote To Live Foundation's free transportation program. It removes one of the most documented barriers to voter participation: getting to and from the polls. They fund rideshare vouchers that cover a voter's round trip to their polling location, and they distribute them through trusted local organizations already embedded in the neighborhoods they're trying to reach.

Cleveland VOTES also has a history of making sure people have a ride to their polling location. In 2024, we partnered with Greater Cleveland RTA and the Cleveland Foundation to make all public transit free for the General Election.
