Cleveland VOTES and partners hosting second annual People's Solutions Lab to spark local civic engagement

The People’s Solutions Lab is more than just an event--it is designed to bring residents together to reclaim their power - more specifically their civic power. Civic power is about standing firm in the face of oppression, about shaping our environments, and demanding a more just society. It’s an urgent call to resist and to rebuild from the ground up, acknowledging that true power does not reside solely in established institutions but rather in the relentless will of the people, united in their pursuit of justice and equality.

Through educational and interactive sessions, along with resource sharing, attendees will deepen their understanding of the 2026 election landscape, voter access, key dates, and the importance of the upcoming election. Participants will also receive tangible activation tools — including outreach strategies, voter education materials, community organizing techniques, and engagement resources — that empower them to mobilize neighbors, families, and networks to participate in the democratic process.

The People’s Solutions Lab centers the belief that informed and connected communities create stronger civic outcomes. By equipping residents with knowledge, resources, and actionable next steps, the event aims to inspire sustained community leadership and collective action leading up to the 2026 midterm elections.

We are proud to host this event at the Care Alliance Health Center - Central Neighborhood Clinic, in partnership with the following organizations: Cleveland VOTES, Cleveland Freedom Dreams Coalition, Cleveland Documenters, Kings & Queens of Art, NAACP Cleveland Branch, and Neighborhood Connections.
